Hasbro Forecloses on Atlantic City
Hasbro is planning to update Monopoly by removing the classic Atlantic City streets. I can understand updating the costs and values, but it doesn't seem right to mess with the streets.
Hasbro is also running a contest through May 12th on what locations from 22 cities should be included in the updated version of the game. The locations include neighborhoods and prominent locations as well as streets, such as Times Square, the French Quarter, Hollywood, the Golden Gate Bridge, Fenway Park, and Wrigley Field.
The original game will continue to be sold as a "classic" version.
